Diagnostic centre

Kalmar Implant Dentistry has complete digital X-ray diagnostics (digital orthopan 2D, 3D CBCT and RVG imaging) for safe, fast and accurate diagnosis.

Each check-up and diagnosis is preceded by a panoramic image or orthopan, which is the basis for planning dental therapy in today's modern dentistry.
Modern X-ray diagnostics is necessary in setting up and conducting fast, precise and safe implant prosthetic therapy.
You can make a complete X-ray diagnosis in just a few minutes at our clinic with a modern Morita 2D and 3D R100 device from the Japanese manufacturer, J. Morita Corp. The Cone Beam computer tomography enables:

3D image – a three-dimensional view

3D image – a three-dimensional view of the anatomical structure of both jaws is necessary for the placement, planning and successful implementation of an implant procedure, lifting the bottom of the maxillary sinus, extraction of wisdom teeth or impacted/retained teeth.

High resolution and clarity of diagnostic images

High resolution and clarity of diagnostic images – allow a clear and sharp view of periodontal pockets, periodontal ligaments as well as of the quality and quantity of the alveolar bone. It is extremely useful for the implementation of implant therapy and postoperative control.

A short time of radiation exposure

Thanks to a modern device, means that radiation exposure for the patient is short - the digital orthopan only takes 7.4 seconds while 3D CBCT only takes 9.4 seconds.

Minimum dose of radiation absorption

Morita devices are designed so that the patient is only exposed to a minimum dose of radiation thanks to the advanced “Dose Reduction Mode function”, which allows as much as 90% less radiation compared to conventional devices.

All our studios are equipped with a Morita Veraview iX digital intraoral X-ray device, which enables:

All our studios are equipped with a Morita Veraview iX digital intraoral X-ray device, which enables:

  • simple and precise positioning, ensuring high-resolution diagnostic images.
  • precise and fast diagnosis
  • imaging of a single tooth or implant on the basis of which we obtain information about the condition of the tooth, implant, surrounding bone and the length of the root canals
  • if endodontic treatment of canals is necessary ( t enables the control of canal filling), early caries detection, control of tooth extraction…
  • all RVG images are processed using modern i-Dixel software and are reproduced in a digital form on a monitor magnified several dozens times.
